Dr. Shawn Pala Dr. Pala chose chiropractic as a career after a long-term struggle with an adolescent spinal disease. Despite chronic pain beginning as a teenager, Dr. Pala earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Taylor University in 1989. During his time at Taylor in Upland, Indiana, the doctor was both a patient of chiropractic and several physical therapy clinics managing pain from spinal compression fractures and disc herniations. In 1993 Dr. Pala graduated from Ball State Universtiy in 1993 with a master’s degree in Information and Communication Sciences.
Dr. pala moved to Indianapolis in 1993 to begin a career in Information Systems.
Life altering spinal problems caused Dr. Pala to develop relationships with many doctors of chiropractic, physical therapists and medical physicians. With this integrated approach, Dr. Pala was able to overcome those physical limitations and learn to manage his pain. Dr. Pala felt called to help others suffering from spinal problems and other health conditions and moved to St. Louis in 2002 to purse a doctorate in the field of chiropractic.
Dr. Pala graduated from Logan University of Chiropractic in 2006 with a bachelor of science in human biology and a doctorate of chiropractic. He is board certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and the Indiana Board of Chiropractic Examiners. Dr. Pala is also licensed as a nationally Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA.
Dr. Pala specializes in family care. He enjoys seeing children for prevention and co-management of many childhood health conditions.
Dr. Pala enjoys active involvement in his church, physical fitness, reading, and close relationships with family and friends.
